You can use this search to find businesses that are, or have been, authorised by the Regulator to provide regulated claims management services. The search can be by business name, trading name or authorisation number, and the search result will give the business name, any trading names, principal place of business and authorisation number.

Depending on your search criteria the search results will return businesses with different authorisation statuses. The descriptions below provide an explanation of the meaning of each status. Only authorised businesses may provide regulated claims management services.

• Authorised business – Businesses authorised by the Regulator to provide regulated claims management services.
• Authorisation suspended – Businesses that have been authorised by the Regulator but whose authorisation is currently suspended. These businesses are not currently authorised to provide regulated services. Once a suspension has been removed the business will be listed as an authorised business again.
• Authorisation cancelled – Businesses that have been authorised by the Regulator but whose authoristion has been cancelled. These businesses are not authorised to provide regulated services.
• Authorisation voluntarily surrendered – Businesses that have been authorised by the Regulator but who have surrendered their authorisation. These businesses are not authorised to provide regulated services.
